4th April 2009 Qing Ming Jie

Woke up around 5:30am in the morning to prepare to go for Qing Ming...

As it is the first year for my daddy, and according to our ah pek and so call tradition...we are required to go "visit" from the top of the family tree before going to my daddy.

1st stop: Mandai Crematorium...
The first stop of the day is at Mandai, and over there lies my great grandfather.
Ask anyone there who saw him before, none.
Number of ppl present: 32 inclusive of us...but not total yet...

2nd stop: Somewhere nearer to those cemetry along choa chu kang...
At here lies my great grandmother in which I think only my ah hmm and ah pek got vivid memories about.
Number of ppl present: 33 inclusive of us...with the absence of some aunties.

3rd stop: Lim Chu Kang
Here lies my Grandfather...
Number of ppl present: 17...

4th stop: Lim Chu Kang
My Grandmother...
Number of ppl present: 17...

5th stop: Lim Chu Kang Crematorium..
FINALLY my daddy!!
This is the stop where amazing, have the most ppl "visiting". We think it's because it's a new crematorium and those doing first year needs to go on the actual Qing Ming Jie, thus there's crowd in this place.
We bought a small model toy car for daddy.
The sour feeling still do come back when visiting daddy.
Really do miss him.
